S&S Fire Apparatus has been the leader and innovator
in stainless steel fire apparatus since the early 1980s. A privately held company
with offices in Fairmount, Indiana, and Keller, Texas, we recognize that the
most important ingredient in your fire apparatus is an ingenious and capable
workforce—a team of highly skilled and motivated craftspeople that combine
personal pride, inventive spirit, and eyes on the future.
S&S also realizes that quality only happens if
people truly believe in it, and we build your apparatus accordingly. The end
result is not to sacrifice quality for price. In the immortal words of John
Stanhope, “The bitter taste of poor quality remains long after
the sweet taste of low price is forgotten.”
In the twenty years since our original inception,
S&S has grown quite a bit. With over 100% growth in the past decade alone,
it would be easy for principle to be lost in the shuffle. But despite our expansion,
we hold true to our original objective: to be the Worldwide Fire Apparatus
of Choice. As we strive to achieve this lofty goal, we have introduced many
state-of-the-art technologies into our manufacturing process.
